Fort Sherman Ministries has an opportunity to secure more than 38 acres near Kingston, Idaho, as a permanent location for missionary training.
Fort Sherman Academy already uses this property for outdoor training. Securing it would provide a permanent place dedicated to preparing missionaries for service in difficult environments.
FSM helps smaller sending organizations and churches access training for their leadership and crisis managers. This training helps prepare them to respond when a missionary or another member of their organization is in crisis.
Financial limitations can make it difficult for missionaries to include personal security training in their preparation. FSM helps close that gap. Depending on a student’s need and available scholarship funds, a scholarship may cover all or part of the training fees.
